The Pierce County Health Careers Council, in partnership with the University of Puget Sound, is hosting high school students from all areas of Pierce County at the Annual Pierce County Health Career Day.

Registration: Sept 10-30, 2010
(classes will be filled on a first come, first served basis)

The fourth annual Pierce County Health Career Day will be held in Tacoma, Washington. This exciting partnership will provide a rich experience for all participants. Career workshop sessions will be available to participants. Health professionals from a vast range of health care fields will share their expertise and present their first-hand experience.

Educational requirements, job options, and the realities and demands of a career in healthcare will be discussed. Students will have scheduled time to visit the Exhibitors' Hall as one of their career session choices. This is their opportunity to speak with and gather information from educational institutions and area employers. Major health education providers in Washington will attend, including community and technical colleges, and universities.
